Our Team

As Broker of Record and President of Gleed Commercial, Rick brings more than 35 years of experience in investment, land, industrial, office and retail real estate in the London area and across southwestern Ontario.

After working for other brokerages, Rick founded Commercial One in the late 1980’s, which transitioned into DTZ Barnicke London Windsor Sarnia Ltd in 1995. He was National Chairman for DTZ from 2006 to 2009.

Realizing he wanted the flexibility to serve clients better, Rick made the decision to sell DTZ Barnicke and launch Gleed Commercial in 2012, in partnership with his wife Megan.

Their office, located in the heart of downtown London, reflects Rick and Megan’s commitment to the community.

Rick is a proud sponsor of Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) – an organization providing outreach, support services, and housing to at-risk and transient youth – since 2006. In 2015 he received the YOU Steve Cordes Community Star Award. Rick also served on the Board of Governors and the Building Property and Development Committee for Matthews Hall independent school from 2014 to 2017.

Rick enjoys sports, summer boating at his family cottage, and winter skiing in Ontario and British Columbia.
